- Lodging – This is usually one of the first things we look at when planning a new vacation. When you stay with us in one of our condos here at Resort Properties, we actually have three different locations to choose from so that you can pick something that fits everyone’s needs in the family! Our first property is called Bear Crossing and this one is all about location, location, location. Located at traffic light #5, this particular spot will put you right in the middle of all the action. You can actually walk over to the new Leconte Center or even the Island so you don’t have to worry about driving. All of the balconies face the Little Pigeon River, so it’s also the ultimate relaxation area. With two and three bedroom units to choose from, you won’t regret staying here if you choose this one! Our second property is Whispering Pines and this one is the biggest out of the three, so it has the most amenities like an indoor pool/hot tub, fitness center, sauna, arcade room, and an outdoor pool/lazy river! We’re conveniently located at traffic light #7, so you’re in very close proximity to the Old Mill! We offer one to four bedroom condos here and you can choose from a city, nature, or mountain view when you’re out on your balcony. You will love it here, I promise! And our last property is Cedar Lodge, located right behind the Dixie Stampede at traffic light #8. If you want the ultimate relaxation spot, this one was designed for you. With all the balconies facing the river, you’ll be able to just kick your feet up and listen to the water flowing by. We offer two and three bedrooms here to choose from and you get covered parking! As an added bonus for staying with us, we offer FREE TICKETS to numerous shows and attractions in the area that you will get no matter which property you’re staying at. Talk about an amazing deal, that’s about $275 a day in savings for you! So what are you waiting for? Come and stay with us, we would love to have you!
- Attractions – One of the best things about vacationing in Pigeon Forge is there is something to do at every corner! I’m sure it’s making it hard to decide what to catch this time and what to maybe save for next time. We’ll narrow it down to a few key spots to visit on your first trip here. Dollywood: we all knew this first one is a given, but it’s just something that can’t be missed! This amusement park is full of magic from beginning to end. From roller-coasters to shows to shops and everything else you can imagine, this place will have everyone in your family wanting to come back. Lucky for us, they offer an amazing special where if you go in after three, you get in FREE the next day so all the fun can continue! What’s next? How about the Titanic Museum?! Purchase your boarding pass for a discounted price at our front desk and then get ready to take a step into the past when you arrive. With exact replicas of the parts of the ship like the grand staircase and the parlors, you will feel like you’re really aboard the ship that first sailed so long ago. While you’re here, you get to honor the crews and passengers as you learn all about their voyage. It’s a must see when you’re in town. If you’re feeling the need for speed, we have two different places for you to check out, the first one being The Track! Get ready to spend some quality family time while enjoying go karting, mini golfing, bumper carts, and blaster boats, and the best part, they’re all in one place! This is one spot that you’ll want to visit before you leave. The last attraction to talk about is the Smoky Mountain Alpine Coaster. Get ready to see all the beauty our mountains have to offer as you fly past them at the speed you’re most comfortable with! You can go up to 27 mph on the longest downhill ride in the United States! Get ready to have an absolute blast, you’ll be begging to go on again once it’s over.
- Shopping – We all know it isn’t a vacation if you don’t visit a few stores to get some souvenirs to take home with you! One of my favorite spots to shop til I drop at is The Island, and the nice thing about this place is it’s a real one stop shop. They have everything you could ever imagine from stores like Emery’s 5 & 10 (the oldest family owned one in America) to the Kryptonite Character Store, there will be something here for the whole family! Once you’ve conquered this area, it’s time to head over to another one of my favorite places – The Old Mill! You will feel like you’re stepping back in time when you’re here and learn about the history of this area before you get your shopping spree on. With shops ranging from jewelry to kitchenware, you’re bound to leave with a few goodies to take back home with you and show all your friends. And finally, the last shopping destination to check out is Tanger Outlets! You may even need a two day trip for this one since there’s so many places to look through. From designer handbags to shoes and even a disney store, you will want to visit this incredible spot every single time you’re in town!
- Dining – The last thing to talk about is food, of course! I know there are so many places to choose from, but I’d like to help you not miss out on any of the good stuff. The first place to tell you about is actually a dinner show and it just so happens to be called the Dixie Stampede! It’s time to pick whether you’d like to root for the North or the South and be prepared to be taken on an entertaining journey from beginning to end. With horse stunts, competitions, and delicious food (I can guarantee you’ll be asking for the soup recipe as soon as you walk out), this will be one spot you won’t want to miss! Are you traveling with a big family? I have two spots that are just for you – The Old Mill Restaurant and Paula Deen’s Family Kitchen. Get ready to have some of the most incredible food you can find in Pigeon Forge. The best part about them both? They’re served family style so get ready to dig right in! These two spots are bound to become your staples when you visit as soon as you sit down and see the amazing decor. You will be leaving very happy and extremely full!
