Dollywood Smoky Mountain Christmas
See the area’s most incredible light display and take a step back into your own childhood at Dollywood this season. Christmas comes alive on multiple stages as they put on live shows to entertain people of all ages. Returning this year is It’s A Wonderful Life…a Christmas classic that a lot of families watch as part of their yearly Christmas traditions! Other shows going on throughout the park will be an Appalachian Christmas, Christmas with the Kingdom Heirs and a fan favorite, Christmas in the Smokies! Also returning this year is the Parade of Many Colors. You can catch it nightly during the season and it is full of entertainment and fun for the whole family. Oh and another thing that you will love about Dollywood’s Smoky Mountain Christmas is the fact that the children will have the chance to meet Rudolph , Clarice, Bumble the Abominable Snow Monster and Yukon Cornelius at Rudolph’s Holly Junction! Not only will they get to meet some of their favorite holiday characters, but they can have their photos taken with them and decorate Christmas cookies as well.

The Pigeon Forge Welcome Center at traffic light #0 will be passing out free tour guides so you can enjoy the Lights Driving Tour on your own and at your own leisure or you can hop aboard a Trolley and enjoy the Tour of Lights. The Tour of Lights is a great way to see all the light displays, not worry about traffic or where you are going and learn some history of Pigeon Forge. The trolleys are heated, but just to make the tour even more enjoyable, I would suggest you stop by the Old Mill Creamery and get a refreshing cup of hot chocolate before climbing aboard!
