New Restaurants to Try in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg

There is always something new to try here in the Smoky Mountain area. This goes for restaurants too. Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg have both welcomed new businesses in recent months. We do not want you to miss out on those while vacationing here, so here is a list of the new restaurants to try in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg on your next visit!

Puckett's Grocery & Restaurant

Puckett’s is one of the most anticipated, new restaurants in Pigeon Forge. If you love comfort food, then you definitely do not want to pass up this restaurant while driving through town. With a laid-back atmosphere and delicious food, you will leave happily satisfied. The menu offers something for everyone and includes their famous slow-cooked BBQ, a variety of meats, southern sides, salads and sandwiches. The Pigeon Forge location is their sixth. You can find it at 2480 Parkway, right next door to the Incredible Christmas Place.

Sunliner Diner

Just opening in Pigeon Forge is this quaint, retro diner. This 1950s themed diner is eye catching with a chrome exterior, classic cars and an interior that matches as well. Diners can also shop the vintage retail shop after enjoying their meal. Walking through the doors is like walking back in time! They offer breakfast (served al day), lunch and dinner. Some of their specialties include their chicken and waffle benedict, corned beef hash, sunliner patty melt and their meatloaf. Their menu is extensive thought so I doubt anyone will have trouble finding soemthing! For all of you that enjoy something sweet after eating, you will be delighted to know that they offer some incredible desserts too. Their milkshakes are simply out of this world! They also offer sundaes, banana splits, sodas and floats. You can find the new Sunliner Diner at 2302 Parkway or reach them at 865-366-1263.

The Local Attraction Gastropub

Located in the Arts & Crafts Community, but not far from the Gatlinburg Parkway, The Local Attraction Gastropub is quickly becoming a favorite among locals and vacationers both. They offer a full menu for both lunch and dinner and offer a fully stocked bar. Start your meal off with a great appetizer like their beer battered cheese curds – we highly recommend them! When the weather is nice, I would suggest you pull up a chair outside on the patio and enjoy your meal. If you happen to visit on a Friday or Saturday, you can enjoy some free local music as well.

Chesapeake's

I just want to start by saying this is my all time favorite restaurant in our area. It is an extremely popular restaurant in Knoxville, TN and they just opened up in Downtown Gatlinburg. Copper Cellar owns this restaurant which is the same owner of Calhoun’s, Smoky Mountain Brewery and Calhouns. So, with that being said, you know it is going to be delicious! Chesapeake’s is a seafood restaurant and they offer everything from live Maine lobster, fresh oysters, scallops, crab cakes to grilled chicken and new york strip. If you love seafood, but are traveling with someone that really doesn’t – as you can see, you can both enjoy something fresh and deliicious at this new restaurant to try in Gatlinburg.
