Dollywood/Splash Country – Spring is always one of our favorite times of year because we know that’s when our favorite amusement and water park will open back up! Dollywood is going to be extra special this year since they did their big expansion. Wildwood Grove is the new part of the park that everyone will be talking about. You will be able to explore, play, and imagine here and it’s excitement for the entire family. There will be rollercoasters, kiddie zones, breathtaking views and more. From amazing shows to thrilling rides and coasters, this park has it all and then some. The Festival of Nations will also be back this year, so mark your calendars! Their water park is a great way to cool off from the spring heat and features plenty of refreshing slides and other fun rides to hop on and twist and turn through. You can also enjoy a wave pool and a scenic lazy river. Both these parks are such a great way to spend a day together with your loved ones, you will definitely have a memorable time.

The Track Pigeon Forge – One place that you will always see full during the busy months is all the go karting places. This one has been around for such a long time and has become a staple for families that have been coming to visit us for years. There are two different locations and each offer a ton of different activities to take advantage of. From go karting to mini golf and even kiddie rides and arcades, everyone will be able to find something fun to do here.

Outdoor Gravity Park – This is another exciting and unique way to cool off this spring break. Jump aboard their personalized zorb, a plastic ball of sorts that is filled with water. These were specially designed to make sure there is absolutely no tumbling, you get a fun filled ride to the bottom of the hill. They even give you your own go-pro so you can record your journey down and they sell the videos to take home to remember your experience. It is truly a one of a kind attraction and it’s one that everyone will love getting to see, even if it’s just watching your party zorb down.

The Island – This one stop shop has plenty of things to offer to keep everyone entertained and happy. They have quaint shops, restaurants, attractions, and more. Here you can find some kiddie rides plus a ropes course, escape room, mirror maze, an enclosed ferris wheel, gem mining, bumper cars, and more. This is also where you will find popular restaurants like Paula Deen’s Family Kitchen, Margaritaville, and even more delicious spots. This area has become an absolute favorite for our visitors.

Budget Friendly Activities

Patriot Park –  Located at the Old Mill, this park offers a bunch of free activities to take advantage of like an open field where you can start up a game of soccer, football, etc. There is also a picnic area and gazebo to enjoy a nice lunch at together right by the little pigeon river. You can take a stroll on their walking trail where you can see the flags of all 50 states plus a memorial for the veterans of Sevier County. This is a fantastic place to spend some quality time with your family at.

Pigeon Forge Community Center – For only $8 a person, the entire family can spend a day at this facility which will have an indoor and seasonal outdoor pool, basketball, wallyball, racquetball, fitness center, and more. There’s also a very affordable bowling alley there as well. This is a great option if you’re wanting to save a little money, but still have an entertaining time.

City Park – Located right behind the Community Center, this is a free area where you can find an outdoor tennis court, volleyball court, playground, library, walking trail, and a pavilion. You can get a bunch of your energy out here and it doesn’t cost you a cent to visit!

On-Site Amenities – Each of our properties offer different kinds of amenities that are completely free to use. Whispering Pines has an indoor and outdoor pool and hot tub, lazy river, fitness room, and a grilling pavilion. Big Bear Resort has an indoor and outdoor pool and hot tub, fitness room, and a game room (with an air hockey and foosball table!) Cedar Lodge offers an outdoor pool and hot tub, river deck, fishing right on-site, and a grilling area. Bear Crossing has a small outdoor pool, on-site fishing, grills, and a picnic table.


Comedy Barn – This show will have every person in your party crying from laughing so hard. It is 100% clean comedy that is extremely family friendly and features stunts and skits that are always different due to the audience interaction. Darren Romeo’s: Magic Beyond Belief – This is another family friendly show that will truly have some of everything. From singing to illusions and all kinds of incredible magic tricks, he can really do it all and then some. He is an amazing performer and we can guarantee that guests of all ages will find something in the show that they enjoyed and will continue to talk about even after the show is over. There will even be some animals on stage. You also get a free adult ticket to this one too!

Dolly Parton’s Stampede – This incredible dinner show is a guest favorite and one that is a must see especially if you haven’t visited before. There will be live stunts, singing, dancing, special effects, and more. Best of all, you get a delicious four course feast featuring mouth-watering options like a whole rotisserie chicken, barbecue pork loin, corn on the corn, herb basted potato, creamy vegetable soup, and even more delectable goodies. Get ready to cheer for either the North or South as they compete in obstacles to see who gets the victory in the end!
